Boo! I'm Back.

Let's Catch Up.

Hey there! Happy holiday season! It’s been a while, and I’ve missed talking to you. Did you have a nice Halloween? What’s on your winter TBR? (I have a recommendation for you…) How about this UFO/UAP news? What are you watching? This holiday season I’ve watched Alien Romulus (5/5👽), V/H/S/Beyond (also fantastic!), Frogman, and Werewolves.

There’s no point in pretending like life doesn’t feel a little flat at present. So, I sincerely hope that you are finding community with the people who bring you joy and support.

I’m going to continue to talk about things that make me happy—reading and writing about strange subjects—and I hope you will continue to find comfort in books.

My Favorite Day of the Week Is…

WEDNESDAY! In case you missed the news…I GOT TO WRITE A WEDNESDAY ADDAMS BOOK!!! Are you celebrating with me?

Book of Outcasts (May 2025) is a full-color, hardcover guide to the first season of Netflix’s Wednesday. This book will take you into Wednesday’s mysterious world where you’ll get to meet her friends and foes, explore Nevermore Academy and the town of Jericho, and learn more about the Outcasts seen in the show: psychics, Hydes, gorgons, sirens, werewolves, and more. And of course there are notes from Wednesday Addams herself!

What Should You Read in 2025?

You can add Mystery James Digs Her Own Grave (Delacorte Press) and Down Came the Spiders (Scholastic) to your 2025 TBR!

And Now for Something Actually Scary…

I think that’s all the news from my haunted house. I’ll be sending you updates more regularly, so watch your inbox closely. Before I go, here’s something that’s actually scary. Cryptid hunters are whispering about this frightening footage from the woods of Massachusetts. What do you think—legit or hoax?
